Illidari Council is dead, one more demon to kill...

This was probably one of the most satisfying kills in Black Temple yet for BoV. Not because the fight was particularly difficult (it wasn't, got it down on the first night of attempts) but because BoV as a whole really worked hard over the past month in getting our raid ready to push forward again through the rest of BT and eventually into Sunwell. We've been working hard to gear up a lot of new raiders and its really paying off We have some great new people in the guild who we're looking forward to killing even more new content with very soon.

Great work tonight guys! Now we move on to Illidan, I hear he has more Paladin loot...

Below is a shot of Akama being nice enough to open the door to Illidan for us, as well as the big bad mofo himself!

Mother Sharaz is dead

Another week in Black Temple, another dead boss. Thanks to the BoV war effort of several months ago, we were able to put our 600 primal shadows, 300 primal lifes, and 150 Hearts of Darkness to good use this week. This one was definitely thanks to a full guild effort, all the people that spent time farming up primals and other crafting materials really paid off big time. We had enough materials to outfit 35 people ready to go a month before we even saw her for the first time! I think it took longer to craft and enchant all of the resist gear than it did to actually get Mother Sharaz killed for the first time. Great work guys...we're 1 boss away from Illidan! (and look, a screenshot that isn't totally gray...its only mostly gray!)

Reliquary of Souls defeated!

While I can't say that the Reliquary of Souls was too easy, it ended up being not quite as bad as expected. Dropped the RoS on our 2nd night of atttempts, and first night of getting through Phase 2. Damn nice job from all of our healers keeping everyone alive in Phase 3 for as long as humanly possible, and very nice work from our DPS pushing as hard as they could to get us through. Only 3 shaman were alive at the end, but at least we won! (Maybe we better bring some cauldrons next time, lol)

Gurtogg Bloodboil down!

Well, the end of the "easy" bosses in BT was officially upon us once Teron Gorefiend was killed. We put on our game faces and prepared for a night full of mass death and destruction going up against Gurtogg. Well, I guess we wore him out pretty quickly, he decided to cough up his loots for us only about halfway through our 2nd night of working on him. 5 down, 4 to go in BT...we're over halfway to Illidan.
